Goans Hockey
Goans Hockey is the registered State Sports Association affiliated to Hockey India, the National Sports federation to Administrator the sport of hockey in the State of Goa for both men and women.
Goans hockey has been promoting the sport of hockey through regular hockey camps and tournaments. The association has been commended by the Sports Authority of Goa for conducting the state championships district-wise for all categories ie Senior men and women, Junior men and women and sub - junior boys and girls.
Since it's inception in 2009, Goans hockey has been fielding the state teams for the National Hockey Championships conducted by Hockey India in all categories

Under the able leadership of Mr. Xavier Marquis, President of Goans Hockey since 2014, we are on the threshold of creating a wave for hockey in Goa.
The Executive committee members of Goan Hockey without whom bringing the dream into reality wouldn't have been possible.

Goans Hockey FAQ's
How can I be a member of Goans Hockey and what are the formalities to be done?
Any registered club in the state of Goa interested in the promotion and development of sport of hockey is elligible to be a member. An application for the same needs to be sent to the association and the application will be considered by the executive committee and later rattified by the general body
Do I need to register as a player to play in a tournament?
All Players need to be compulsorily registered to be eligible to play in any tournament conducted in the state of Goa. A Player can register online on the Hockey India Portal
How many schools are currently participating in hockey tournaments in Goa
Currently there are about 42 schools participating in tournaments in Goa conducted by Goans Hockey, Directorate of Sports & youth affairs and Sports Authority of Goa.
Can I conduct a hockey tournament?
Yes, any registered club with Goans Hockey can organise tournaments with prior permission from Goans Hockey. There is a nominal fee for conducting the tournament. If the club /institutuion is not registered with Goans Hockey, prior permission of intent is required to be requested from Goans Hockey before conducting the same as no player is allowed to participate in any unsanctioned tournament.
